The Introduction to Commercial Dance – Level II Series is a continued training program, preparing students in dance techniques in the genres of ballet, commercial dance, Hip Hop, jazz, and modern. Additionally, study in the areas of performance repertory, production, body conditioning, Latin dance styles, and musical theatre are offered. The required courses can be completed in one semester and students are considered for placement to continue training in the advanced levels. The Commercial Dance Certificate provides the essential skills necessary for entry-level positions of employment in commercial and entertainment industries, studio instruction, performance, and choreography. The Commercial Dance Certificate program is designed for advanced students and consultation with department faculty/instructor is highly recommended prior to enrollment.
