Below is a sample academic plan that shows you how you can complete your Associate's Degree in two years. Your path may look different depending on your circumstances?for example, if you attend part-time, choose to take Intersession or Summer courses, or have earned prior credit (Credit for Prior Learning, Dual Enrollment, Transfer Credit). The plan includes four semesters, each with an average course load of 15 units, and follows the Plan 1 General Education pattern. You are required to meet with a counselor to set up a comprehensive education plan that is tailored to your individual circumstances and goals.

The Associate Degree In International Business is designed to provide students and business practitioners, including those already involved in International Business, with practical “hands’ on” exposure to the world of international business. Classes focus on businesses that import and export. Students learn the fundamentals of international business, culture, marketing, finance, law and logistics. Different countries and cultures are explored.

Specialized topic areas (for example, marketing, financing, law and logistics) are a sequence of short classes that should be taken in order. The program prepares students to take the NASBITE Certified Global Business (CGBP) Credential Exam.

The goal of the International Business degree program is to prepare students for careers in the global trade marketplace bycombining abasic academic foundationin import,and export global logistics, international management, international marketing and regional business studies combined withthe benefit ofexperiential learning by using practical tools in use by industry and commerce.
